Welcome to Famous Travels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website our website and the purchase of our travel packages and car rental services. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payments

• Reservations: All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once a formal confirmation is issued and the required deposit is received.
• Payment Schedule: A percentage of the total package cost must be paid upfront. The remaining balance must be cleared as per the agreed timeline.
• Pricing: Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel costs, hotel rates, or government taxes. Once a booking is fully paid, the price is guaranteed.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation by Client: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation fees apply based on how close to the departure date the request is made.
• Refunds: Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days. No refunds will be issued for unused services.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or government restrictions.

3. Car Rental Terms

• Driver Requirements: For self-drive options, a valid driving license and security deposit are mandatory.
• Vehicle Usage: Vehicles must not be used for illegal activities or taken off-road beyond the agreed itinerary.
• Fuel & Tolls: Unless stated otherwise, fuel, tolls, and parking fees are the responsibility of the client.

4. Health and Safety

• High Altitude: Many areas are at high altitudes. Clients are advised to consult a doctor before traveling.
• Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

5. Conduct and Responsibility

• Clients are expected to follow local laws and respect cultural norms.
• We reserve the right to terminate the service of any client whose behavior is disruptive.

6. Limitation of Liability

We act as an agent for hotels, airlines, and local transporters. While we vet our partners carefully, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property caused by these third-party providers.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
